Review on Corsair iCUE NEXUS Companion Touch Screen: Enhanced Control with 6 Macro Buttons & Live System Readouts by Jason Ortiz

Didn't expect it to be that good

This is the type of product that you're not sure you really need until you get it and wonder how you could be without it . With all the not very good reviews, especially about the screen, I hesitated for a long time before buying it, but when my aunt gave me money, I decided to try it. First, the device looks very good. Quality and sticks very well to my K95. Buttons and widgets are easy to customize with iCUE and you can customize them as you like (color, size, background image, etc.). You can only set 6 buttons per screen, but you can set as many screens as you like and it's easy to switch between them by swiping your finger. A year ago I switched from a dual monitor setup to a single 32 inch monitor and really missed being able to control the temperature while gaming without having to run some overhead programs. Turns out this thing does a pretty good job. other people have said that I didn't notice an increase in CPU usage after plugging it in (but maybe that's because my Ryzen 5900x just doesn't feel it). As for the screen, it's true that you can't see anything else if you look at it from an angle, but you can't look at this thing from a 45 degree angle. It should show up when you're sitting in front of the keyboard, and when you do it's surprisingly clear and bright. My only negative point is that the touch function isn't always very responsive to keystrokes, but I get it works well if you're aiming for the bottom of the screen rather than the top. expensive device but worth it for me. Really cool gadget to have in your setup.
