This is a good thermometer at a good price when bought in October 2017 (price has since more than doubled from 26.75 to 61.17 today!)/min with glycol probe but after a few months the cable is in Essay point worn, and then separated. The device continues to work to record the room temperature. Not sure if you can order a replacement glycol probe cable? This device has also been marked Fisherbrand v/s Fisher Scientific. The calibration is valid until June 22, 2019. I have ordered a different brand this year (looks like the same unit with a different label and different glycol probe bottle) due to a broken wire on this unit, however I prefer the larger glycol bottle for this unit. unit revolution. Both describe a 5mL glycol probe bottle, however there is a clear difference in size. The larger glycol bottle in the photo below is for this unit. The smaller upper glycol bottle is from a replacement unit ordered earlier this year.
