I bought this for quilting patterns so it has to go through the fabric and it works perfectly! I LOVE IT! Gone are the days of hanging a pattern on the window and trying to trace it on the fabric! It's really easy to use. I've used it on my bed while watching TV with it on my lap. It is very easy and comfortable to use. The 3 brightness settings were good because I could turn them down to the lowest level and it still worked fine! See photos! (The dark lines in the photos are NOT from a light box. They are from a paper template folded in half. This is the lowest setting and I was working in a darkened room and using it to watch TV on my lap.) It is much nicer than anything i have had in the past. If I can use it for quilting then there are no limits to drawing! My only suggestion is that they make a wireless paid version. But this charger was connected to my phone's charger, so everything was fine.
