2 kittens taken from the shelter. Each only had one cat at a time so weren't prepared to use the litter box with two. At first we kept the kittens in the same room so that they could get used to it slowly, but the closed door made it almost unbearable to stay in the room, with regular cleaning of the tray. I'd heard about Diaper Genie and my friends were raving about the product, so since the price was so cheap I figured I'd give it a try (although I've since seen that Litter Genie Plus is cheaper at Mud Bay). ). It works and it works great! I still clean the litter box regularly and use Lysol disinfectant spray, but when I walk into a room, the amazing smell of the litter box no longer hits my face. It also holds quite a bit of volume (for us lazy people) and I can get by for a few days without cutting open the bag or throwing things away. I have purchased replacement bags from other manufacturers and once I have tested them I will leave a review as to whether they work as well as branded bags.
