While this provides a pure sine wave and 116 volts this is a 60/60 inverter not a true 115 too hot and neutral and 0 to ground. It may be safe for cars but not safe for marine applications. I measured 6.7VAC from chassis to ground, neutral and hot. It also measures 58 volts zero to ground and hot to ground. The earth is not isolated. I would not recommend this for "shore power", RV, or marine applications. The mini fridge ran for 16 hours on a Marine Deep Cycle battery. Too late to return as I got to the boat to test and install.
