Review on Mission Automotive Hitch Tightener Hitches by Tyler Spencer

There are several versions available but I decided to spend a few bucks more since this one is made in the USA. When I first installed it I was hoping it would stop the gurgle of the towhead I was using. The bottom line is that the product doesn't work because it doesn't stay tight. I don't know if the threaded surface of the U-bolt or something else is stretched a bit, but the nuts continue to loosen even with the flat washers and lock washers in place. On my first ride on this thing, which was only about 350 miles, I had to tighten it 3 times. I can read simple instructions and know how to tighten a few screws so it's not an installation problem. it's not like it's rocket science. I could try using nylon locks and see if they stay tight, but otherwise it would be a waste of money and just fodder for a bunch of junk.
