I really wanted one. Good reviews, great price. I have never used a magnetic holder and NOTHING OTHERS WORKS! I TRYED A LOT. I attached the biggest magnet to my phone (Galaxy S9 plus) because I wanted this little one to hold tight. It comes with a piece of plastic to put under the magnetic strip to prevent damaging your real phone, I liked that. I tested it (without the case) and it was a real magnet. So I started trying to find a spot on the dashboard that was a smooth, flat surface. It wasn't easy, I own a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. , so I finally found a very small space just below my stereo screen above the control panel to place. It doesn't take up much space on your dashboard, you only need about 1 inch in diameter. Adhesion is top. This 3m sticker is great, it also comes with 1 extra sticker, this thing is not going to fall off anytime soon. I waited 24 hours for the full bonding effect (I think the instructions say 72 hours) and it was ready to use. I put my phone on the base and immediately realized that it had lost all its super magnetism because now I have my phone. case for! And while I was driving, my phone started falling sideways and sliding down. I didn't want to give up yet. I thought maybe it's THIS case, a plain BACON phone case. I switched to one of my cheaper and thinner cases. .NEA, does not last. holds. easy. until you hit a bump and it falls straight to the floor (usually right under the gas pedal of course) so I removed the case and it works great! But now you have to constantly put your phone case on and off, and don't forget to put the case in your purse so you can put it back on when I'm not driving. However. I am sending it back and wanted to share my personal experience with this phone holder. Return to the drawing board.
