50 year old industrial electrician, life long redwing fan, despite the weight and short life of the insoles.

They no longer make the model I want, 988 engineer boots, made in China, bought a pair of thorogood USA moc toe boots and want to love them but I can't, leather is thin and boots are hot, Paper mill is hot by itself, don't need hot boots, took a chance on these infinity series and have only worn them to work two days,,I ordered super feet insoles and replaced the stock insoles immediately, ( the stock insoles look adequate) the boots look and seem well constructed, very comfortable out the box, waterproof doesn't feel hot, and boots feel light on the feet, love them so far, will buy again,, if thorogood wants send a free pair I would gladly accept
