These are exactly what I was looking for but they hurt my ankles. The reviews said they were meant to clip in front of the ankles - I did - they advanced towards my ankle. Just two hours a day (and I'm at my computer at work all day) and I had to delete them. Will definitely try them again as I've wanted them for a long time and I'm sure they will work! And maybe it depends on the boots you wear and where they are on your ankle. Great purchase and I will definitely find another use for them if they keep hurting my ankles. If not I can use them to hold the sheets in place. They were very frugal; I received 6 sets and they are adjustable. UPDATE: I'm putting them back on with a pair of boots, boots that aren't as high on my ankles as other boots. You didn't hurt my ankles. I also put on the same shoes I was wearing before when they hurt my ankles. This time I cut them off behind the ankles. This time they were not hurt. You may need to hook them up in different places to see what's best. I'm glad I bought them!
