Update 2016 Nov: As long as they don't fall apart my rating will stand. I really liked all the ways I used them. However, every now and then one of these will fall apart when you try to pull it out of the stack. The front felt part moves away from the back. Trying to glue them back won't work, at least not if you have a strong elastic glue. I'm taking off a star because some fall apart and then don't work either. First Rating: Great thing. I'm glad I bought them. I used masking tape to hold the twisted wires in place, but this has to be cut off each time you use the cable. That's a great price and I love this new microfiber fabric. Much better than the old spiky velcro. They are very soft but offer a surprisingly good connection. I've had no problems using them with very thin cables. Be careful when separating them because I started picking one and accidentally started separating the two sides of a tie.
