They work well if you're careful
The vents in our house that are against the outside wall let in quite a bit of cold air. So these foam insulation pads were a good solution. They don't stop cold air 100%, but they definitely help and are very easy to install. The only tricky thing about these gaskets is that they are designed to fit all sorts of outlets. If you're not careful, they fall apart very easily. So my advice is to take your time and compress the areas that need to be removed from the pad. Also, buy more pads than you need. That way, if you make a mistake, you have supplements. Overall a pretty good product.
