Review on OWC General Servicing Apple IMacs by Greg Mahoney

I had to upgrading the SSD after my 2013 iMac's original hard drive failed and i saw how easy it was to upgrade it on youtube so i stumbled across this kit and saw all the mixed reviews some good some bad but me clearly understand that all the negative reviews are just people who don't follow the instructions properly. The only advice I can give is: make sure all the old glue is removed from the base and screen, clean the surface of both the base and screen with alcohol to remove oil and residue, it sticks better too! After attaching and gluing the screen together, glue the screen to the base of the computer along the edges and lay the computer face down for at least 48 hours (2 days) or more! It won't bother you, you won't even notice it! then just remove the tape afterwards and it will stick! I left the tape on for about a month just to be really sure and I did it about 4 months ago and it's still holding up great! Just follow these tips and I'm sure your screen will be fine!
