I bought these having already had acrylic square and rectangular blocks. I thought the shape might offer a more comfortable grip. And maybe they do it for others, but not for me. They're a bit thicker than my square ones, which is good, but the edges are "sharper" where the top and sides meet. On my square ones, it's slightly bevelled, which I find more comfortable. Also, there are more grid lines on squares. Round shapes have multiple lines, and the number of lines increases with each successive size, but there aren't as many as on a square. Also, I have a tool positioner and can't use it with it as it needs a 90 degree angle to line it up. Overall, I should have just stuck with my square acrylic blocks.
