These lights are kinda neat. Biggest drawback I've found is the under water remote response. Very short distance. Button battery tests high, but you have to stand right over the light 4-5 feet away at most to get a response. Disappointing. I have the remote in a ziploc bag because it is NOT waterproof. That doesn't restrict the remote at all. Also, we have a vinyl liner pool, and for some reason the suction cups don't want to stick. I put one one the stairs in the shallow end horizontally and it stayed for a while and lit up the pool pretty well. Advice: I put the lights in my kitchen sink overnight to make sure there would not be any issues. Yes, with water! Going to offer two to my neighbor for his pool. Nice to have two remotes.
