This unit came with my Emerson fan. Although bulky, it fits snugly in the junction box on my wall, leaving little room for wiring. It's a nice looking switch with a main LED in the top left corner and a scale of small LEDs in the bottom right corner that indicate fan intensity. Better than the old way of clicking and waiting a long time to see how fast the fan spins. The keys are spongy and made of a rubberized material that feels nice but doesn't have a distinct tactile click. Due to the large number of buttons, it took a little getting used to which switches do what. The only negative is that my first switch stopped working after 10 days. It's not a cheap switch so I was hesitant to replace it but haven't had any issues with it in the last 30 days. Pros: Slim, modern, stylish. good quality feeling. Mini LEDs indicate fan performance. Cons: A bit expensive. Many buttons may confuse some people or guests. Questionable durability: my first one broke, yours didn't.
