For almost 10 years and 96,000 miles my Kawasaki Voyager 1700 has had a 12v cigarette lighter socket which I never used because the plugs kept dangling. I bought it before I went on a 6300 mile trip. Installation was a quick 10 minute job and required no additional drilling. It fits like it was made for a bike. Thanks to this, my Garmin Virb was always charged and ready to record moments of my trip. It's also great to see the status of your battery at a glance. Why didn't I do this sooner - or better yet, why wasn't this original equipment on the bike?
