Review on Renewed AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Desktop Processor - 12 Cores, 24 Threads, Unlocked by Petar Vachkov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

I'm an intelboy and this is my first red CPU, but I don't feel any regrets and I've gained a lot of knowledge by making the switch. The major disadvantage of this processor is that it has a socket with legs on the processor itself, and the processor itself is not forced against the motherboard by thecomver, as is done with Intel, thus the danger of pulling out acomoler with a glued CPU is significant, as is the chance of bending the legs. For this reason, I advise using a gasket that is precisely 38x38 instead of thermal paste because it completely covers the processor without letting any heat through. However, the CPU is safe from harm even if you disassemble and shoot thecomoler. Used for a year before switching to a 5950x processor. In my circumstances, the games and labor are nearly same, except the quickest comres are split over two CCDs instead of one, and there are four additional comres total. I exhausted my supply of thermal pastes (I stopped at the gasket I specified previously), but the outcome is the same: temperatures of up to 85 degrees Celsius under the air from Noctua. In this case, liquid cooling is the most effective and efficient option. Hynix processors' 3600 MHz memory was compatible with the DOCP profile, whereas 1800 MHz was sufficient for the infinite factory and memorycomntroller. I didn't do any extreme overclocking to take advantage of the ceiling withcomooling, but in theory you wouldn't need to because there's plenty of juice to go around. The TDP current increases to 200 watts when overclocked, but the performance barely budge. You'll need to provide your own video card as there is no in-built support for it.

Pros
  • Fast stock core with 12 cores and 24 threads running at 4.8 GHz
Cons
  • This PGA socket (for the CPU) is sizzling.
