Not suitable for mountain bikes.

This is too weak to use on the IMO trail. I decided to do it myself and weld it to the frame. So I made a simple nose alignment tool and on a whim I used it to check the fit of this clip on the item. even almost right. I've read reviews that some have made it work by drilling different holes, but I haven't been able to find a place to drill both holes correctly. Clamp screws are in the way.
