Very simple and inexpensive bracket, makes a great starting point/template for mounting a hole to create a caliper mounting system but personally I would never use this as is (no added ingredients to make it stronger).

That's what this thing on the front fork does. It ruined my drivetrain and really scratched my fork. Don't buy that crap for a front fork! I don't even care for a few bucks apiece, but I'm pretty pissed off at the cost of a new drive. Garbage! Absolute rubbish.

Great price for those doing a small drive upgrade. Didn't work on this bike without mods: 1) failure was at different angles - flat tire would need fixing 2) strap didn't fit well @ all 3) can't tighten strap to remove slack. With some remodeling this would be a good cheap alternative. I had to buy a $55 rear window adapter - still needed a small mod to bolt the adapter to the frame.

The front fork must be exactly in line with the dropout, otherwise it is useless. The front fork must not have a dropout in the fork, otherwise it is useless. As far as I understand, it's basically useless. I was dying to have a disc brake on the front wheel, so I bought a full kit, which, you guessed it, is useless. My electric tricycle doesn't have brakes, which, you guessed it, is useless. No point returning hundreds of dollars of useless crap.

This is too weak to use on the IMO trail. I decided to do it myself and weld it to the frame. So I made a simple nose alignment tool and on a whim I used it to check the fit of this clip on the item. even almost right. I've read reviews that some have made it work by drilling different holes, but I haven't been able to find a place to drill both holes correctly. Clamp screws are in the way.

Does not work on beach cruisers. This allows bicycles with foot brakes to be converted to disc brakes. However, it might not be that easy to just add this. I couldn't get it. I have fully installed the disc brakes but the caliper will not align as this part needs to be welded to the frame. I finally got it working. Unless, of course, my brake hose broke, but it's my fault it's that old. It actually works well now, so I'm changing my original rating from 1 star to 5. I thought it would come…

Great product but some instructions will help! It wasn't easy to install correctly on my Schwinn Aluminum Comp 27.5. Also, my brake pad didn't get stuck after installation. I noticed it's too high. I got my drill and changed the orientation of my clamp to lower it and now it works like a charm! There are no problems with braking. No friction noise. I would invest in this part again. I didn't use the brass bolts that came with the kit because I wanted all my tools to be identical to my brakes…
