Does not work on beach cruisers. This allows bicycles with foot brakes to be converted to disc brakes. However, it might not be that easy to just add this. I couldn't get it. I have fully installed the disc brakes but the caliper will not align as this part needs to be welded to the frame. I finally got it working. Unless, of course, my brake hose broke, but it's my fault it's that old. It actually works well now, so I'm changing my original rating from 1 star to 5. I thought it would come loose or fall apart again, but it holds together.
