Bought 1.3 mm yellow gold 16" but honestly didn't expect much or expect great quality for the price - just needed a quick fix before a trip to wear a pendant necklace. My sister is a jeweler and also does lots of metal welding so when she took in my pendant necklace with this chain recently to polish for me I was pleasantly surprised when she returned them and told me the chain I had was actually already gold filled so it didn't need a gold plating bath. Sure that's exactly what the listing says it is, but you never know with amazon. For ref I purchased from the seller "KoolJewelry"
