Most importantly - my issue with the others I've had was a gap - a horrible gap - between the floor and the edge so all the dirt goes UNDER the dustpan and stays on the floor rather than in the dustpan and into the dustpan to get garbage. . It doesn't seem to be happening with this one. It sits flush with the floor so dirt goes where it belongs!
