No longer confident

A few times a year I go for a long jog to get fresh water. I installed it at the very beginning and it keeps the pressure across the line at a level sufficient for my RV. I like stainless steel. I think it will last longer with time. I would prefer one with a gauge and a regulator with a gauge in case the water supply is nearby and I might want to check. I wrote the first review after purchasing this regulator 11 months ago. This regulator failed a few days ago. I quickly purchased an exact replacement. This doesn't seem to be working properly. After installing the new controller everything seems fine. A day later I had no water (again). The flow at the regulator seemed normal so I disassembled all the hoses. I found a small piece of rubber in the water filter cleaner screen. I don't know if that's coming from the first or second regulator. I took it off and a day later both hoses after the regulator burst. I was also concerned about the pressure in the trailer. I had another old regulator that I use now and had more hoses. I'm not sure about the quality of this controller anymore and will look for something else.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
