I love this little pot for soup, pasta and potatoes. This is the perfect size for a single person or a couple when cooking in batches. There is no vent hole in the lid, which I knew about when I bought it, so make sure it's boiling. What surprised me was how hot the grips get. Since the pot is only 8 inches in diameter, the heat from my gas stove could really heat it up, so I needed hot pads to take it off the heat or hold the pot while stirring. Didn't break the deal but was a little disappointing. I use it several times a week and I'm generally happy with its performance.
