I have tried many humidifiers. This is one of the best I've personally come across. At first I just dropped one tank, bumped it with my bare foot and broke the lid, so now one of the tanks is leaking. There doesn't seem to be a replacement for this device yet. because ONLY the cover works. One piece of advice I will give you and will try after you order is to use sand tape, gaffer tape or hockey stick grip tape on the inside top where you put your fingers to lift/carry the tank. But I was so intrigued by the simplicity and cost of this device compared to some others I have used that I now have many Germ Guardian / Pure Guardian / Guardian Technologies products in my home.
