Have had it for a few months now and try to take my session with me on all our family outings. This has proven to be a reliable grip for GoPros so far. It has excellent grip and is easier to hold in a stable position than alone. I use the grip space to store the SD card adapter and USB-C cable for charging, which is very convenient. The GoPro mounts on the handle fit snugly and everything feels very well made. Haven't had a chance to test the buoyancy yet but I suspect based on the air holding it that it won't be a problem.
