Review on 🔍 WIX Filters 33001 Fuel (Complete In-Line) Filter: Top-notch Pack of 1 by Justin Kedzior

I bought this filter to replace a worn one. The Walbro WG8's internal screen fuel filter clogs easily and reduces engine performance. Therefore, it is advisable to change the in-line filter regularly as it is much easier than repairing a carburetor. This particular filter was recommended by a popular paramotor tuning and troubleshooting website. Unfortunately, even after a complete carburetor overhaul, including all gaskets, needles, diaphragms, metering lever and actuation pressure adjustment, poor little Walbro was not up to the task of pumping fuel through this filter at full throttle. It idled great, started decelerating in the midrange, and ran out of fuel after a few seconds at full throttle. With the fuel lines clean, it was easy to see what was going on. Pull out the filter and there were no issues throughout the throttle range. I tried the folk fix by reducing the lines to 3/16 all the way, then tried using the 3/16 section right AFTER the filter and 1/4" before, and then got it with tried a high volume primer bulb and a very small bulb....Same problem no matter what...the Walbro WG8 just doesn't have enough vacuum to get enough fuel into a 2ft line and through that filter at full throttle on a Vittorazi Moster Putting 185 in a flat top paramotor Waste of time Other uses for this fuel filter, I also made the task of reconfiguring the fuel line much quicker!
