I love this item. Its weight is a lot lighter than I thought. Although honestly I wasn't sure how it would be as this is my first glass cake pan. I baked a cake in it the same day. I've found what people say about glass to be true, it produces more consistent baked goods, but you need to lower the baking temperature of the cake by about 25 degrees or the "bottom" which is the top will be out during cooking too hot. dark because glass takes longer to heat up than aluminum pans. BUT that's just the nature of glass. This pan cooks great. I love it and look forward to continuing to use it.
