Great for hiding or preventing sun damage.
This is a great product, I should have bought it a few years ago before the sun damaged (cracked) the original coating. I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, installation over my existing console/armrest cover was easy, fits great and looks like an OEM part. Perfect for someone who wants to be smarter than me and protect their console/armrest before sun damage occurs, or someone in the same situation as me with existing damage who wants to hide it. I was considering replacing it, $300.00+ a part, which eventually isn't impossible, but for now I have a great and inexpensive alternative; and if I swap out the armrest this cover will be placed over it to prevent future damage. I highly recommend this product.
