the coffee machine was easy to set up. The instructions are easy to understand and the machine runs quietly. The coffee I brewed with the K cup was pretty good, maybe better than my Keurig. A major downside, however, is that if you don't adjust the cup holder to the highest possible position to still accommodate the size of a cup, you'll end up with coffee splatters all over the counter and the machine itself! I made the mistake of leaving the cup holder in the down position to make it easier to insert and remove the 14-ounce cup. However, I soon realized that I had coffee splatters everywhere. It seems that the water flowing through the K-Cup leaves the cup so slowly that the hot liquid gets sprayed everywhere, and I mean everywhere! That wasn't a problem with my Keurig. However, once I adjusted the cupholder as high as it could go, the splashing was minimal. I thought I'd have to return it, but now that I know I need to mount the cup holder as high as possible, that's acceptable. It is so strange that the company did not recognize and correct this situation.
