Contrary to what most reviewers think, the thread I received is easy to cut with scissors and not too difficult to break. Nice soft feel and true to size. Bought some Kevlar line for my personal welding gear. For repairing existing items and sewing a leather cap/beard for my welder's cap. I will report the direct spatter/spark heat resistance of this filament later after using it. However, it burns fairly quickly when exposed to a direct flame. Edit: High quality, stronger than my original opinion. It sews very well. I haven't welded yet with the material I sewed, so I'll update the heat resistance information later.
