Well, they say first impressions count. This magnet definitely made a good first impression. It's a good weight, well made, good looking and comes with a scraper for removing stubborn algae. My last magnet was bought from Petsmart, nothing special and probably over 5 years old. Even the simple algae seemed difficult to remove. As soon as I used this magnet I noticed a HUGE difference. I was about to buy a new magnet and a longer scraper but stumbled across this one and decided to give it a try. Definitely satisfied so far. If this changes for any reason I will definitely update my review.
