I can't believe it! I have lived in this house for 10 years and have tried everything I can think of to effectively clean the bathtub for 10 years. (SUPER hard water, I live over a limestone aquifer. The water is so hard that in 2-3 years the toilet will become garbage if they are not maintained and sediment removed because the water can no longer flow) When I moved in , realizing that it's not "my dirt" in the bathtub, well, it totally rattled me! Forget shower doors etc. Enough elbow grease and I can look a halfway sure they stained but clean enough not to be creepy lol. I had these "brownish black" dots on the bottom of my tub (little non slip dots) that I could never get rid of, now it's creepy! I even soaked the bottom of the tub in a really strong bleach solution one night when I moved in. I was desperate. They have never been clean. Well, I figured it must be a layer of lime that "protects" the dirt. So I tried CLR overnight but nothing. Desperate, I tried muriatic acid, but didn't leave it for long, afraid I'd finish eating. (And do you know that for almost 20 years I've only used natural cleaning products OR my commercial steam cleaner with distilled water, minus those few desperate tries. I really don't like chemicals, especially when leftovers get mixed with my bath water, ugh.) I clean with vinegar sometimes too, but I knew it wasn't suitable for my hard water. even with pumice. Well I bought it on a whim after reading the reviews. For the first time ever, the dots are pure white, just like the rest of the tub! I actually thought the tiles on the wall had worn away the shiny finish from years of cleaning, no! It was a scum that never came off (even with CLR AND OTHER ACID, nothing). Now they SHINE! My glass shower doors are really CLEAR with no stains! I LOVE THIS THING! Sure, I used a whole jar for 2 days and let it, mixed with a soft Biokleen scrub, soak on the walls and shower doors for almost 24 hours to help it stick. but remember that it has accumulated over 10 years. then I moved in! (and I doubt the previous owner ever cleaned) I'm so happy I can actually take a bath now without feeling exhausted! I will upload pics later, I was so impressed I sent some to my husband at work and he thought I faked the pics lol! By the way, it removes rust even easier! (I had a trash can in the bathtub that looked like "stainless steel". Well, it rusted, leaving rust marks all over the tiles that I couldn't remove. Yes, I've tried everything above, even hydrochloric acid allowed for 30 minutes on the tile. Nothing! Everything is finally clear! YAYYYY!)
