I use this mount on my truck's toolbox to support the Yaesu screwdriver antenna. I needed the SO239 side to be flat for this application and that's what I got. I bought another one to use as a mount for the same antenna in a field/base scenario. However, the width between the studs and the length of the studs is simply not enough to fit on a standard 1.25" mast. Tram: If you made a bracket with only 1/8 inch wider holes (both horizontally and vertically) and 1/2 inch longer screws, you would be opening this bracket up to the ham market.
