I bought these specifically because I need a set of handlebars for my bike that are shorter on one side than the other. the left grip (regular length) fits perfectly. The right hand grip (where I had to cut it off) is loose which means I can't use them and can't return them because I cut one off. I hope this is a coincidence and other people have had better experiences, but this is something to be wary of when buying specifically to trim for a short handle. Update: had to be replaced within a year, didn't stay on the handlebars. despite observing the manufacturer's installation instructions. replaced by a kit of the same price that includes small screws to mount the grips more firmly on the steering wheel.
