The overall design of the grip is very good, but the remote button does not communicate with the camera app. Once connected, it may require a few touches before a picture is taken. When connected to the remote, sometimes the phone's volume control activates instead of taking a photo. I contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed the problem with the volume control without offering to fix or replace the device.
