Really makes your smartphone work like a camera! I use it with the iPhone 7 Plus. Appropriate"reliable". The practical Bluetooth shutter accessory is ingenious in design and execution! It works like a vertical stand when you need to put your phone down. Does NOT block ports on the bottom so I can charge my phone without removing it. I went to a 3 day photo shoot and kept it the whole time. It worked very well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I don't like taking photos with my phone because I find it difficult to hold my phone steady while touching the screen or pressing the volume buttons to release the shutter. This grip offers both a more secure way of holding the phone and a more camera-like shutter release. Also fits my Moto x4 with case! Many grips require you to remove the case to use them - they don't. It also works with most phones, regardless of brand. Will be on my packing list for my next vacation.

At $21, I had moderate expectations. After receiving and testing this product, I was blown away. The build quality is fantastic for the price. Robust, ergonomic, but not too heavy. The shutter button works great in several iPhone camera apps I've tested. Also, the trigger will be CHARGED. It's as close to perfection as it gets. The price is an absolute bargain.

The overall design of the grip is very good, but the remote button does not communicate with the camera app. Once connected, it may require a few touches before a picture is taken. When connected to the remote, sometimes the phone's volume control activates instead of taking a photo. I contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed the problem with the volume control without offering to fix or replace the device.

The first came without the spring that holds the camera grip. This is a replacement that was dispatched two days later and arrived without the same part. In both cases it turned out to be a production oversight, leading me to believe that there is no quality control at the factory. If you grab something and just open your jaws, you should know that's not right. I have received other Adonit products and they have been fine. This is a real disappointment.
