I've had this net for about 8 years now and it's perfect for what I need. Recently used to toss and secure tree and shrub clippings to prevent them from being blown away. Do yourself a favor and remove all the hooks except the yellow ones that should be in the corners. I stow the removed hooks in the zipper and put them in the storage bag that came with it. Just snap them where you need them and you're done. I've only used this on small to medium sized pickups so can't comment on how it works on large trucks.
