We got Kirby Sentria about 6 weeks ago and so far I've used carpet shampoo the most. This shampoo works much better than Resolve, smells much better and dries faster. He got out cat vomit and various food stains, but the real test came when five bloodstains ranging in size from a golf ball to the size of a tennis ball appeared on the carpet. I had to go over the stains more than once. The first wash lightened them considerably, then I waited for it to dry, pretreated the carpet with hydrogen peroxide (it didn't ruin the color of our deep blue-green carpet, so I recommend it for blood stains) and off we go. over him again after he had stopped hissing. The spots are still very faint to me, but I think that's because I know they're there. My main complaint about this is that you have to use quite a bit of shampoo per tank. I see that the bottle runs out very quickly in a household with small children or many pets.
