Not bright at all As others have said the chrome parts are attached to the main black parts below with two small strips of double sided tape. Both of mine came loose with some pressure as I put my pants back on. I used a heat gun to heat the tape and chrome parts so they adhere properly. During installation I had to cut off the hot glue used to attach the lights to the body. There really has to be a better version out there somewhere. You get what you pay for as they say. To update; The chrome covers on the back of both are gone, now it's a chrome piece with a light on the front and an all black back.
