I'm not a professional electrician so I'm sure there are many features on this product that are even more useful. First of all I just need something to test live wires, continuity and sometimes actual AC/DC voltage. A few things like this multimeter: it comes with both regular probe tips and alligator clips. Runs on 2 AAA batteries which are included. I think the kickstand on the back (see attached image) is a nice touch that makes the display more visible. It also has a rubberized cover on the outside to protect against accidental drops. So far I've used it to test voltage, live wires and continuity and it works just fine with no problems. Unlike other multimeters I've used in the past, this one has a built in non-contact voltage detector. You simply bring the front end near something like a live cord or outlet and it will beep and light up to let you know it detects voltage. It also works at low voltage, like my cell phone charger. Everything also fits into the included sturdy carry case. Very happy with this product!
