*Updated Rating, Still 5 Stars* So I've been using them for quite some time. Shortly after my first review I found a way to use it, I just forgot to update the review. As you can see in the picture I modified my filter to use inlet screens. It turns out that the air intake of this filter is perfect for the Y-branch of a sponge filter (two cylindrical sponge type) and the intake grilles fit right on top of where the sponges originally were. Everything worked perfectly and I am very happy with the performance of these screens. *First rating, 5 stars *They don't suit me, but I won't give a low rating and say it's my fault. I ordered them to attach the Aqueon QuietFlow LED 20 so I can use it in my shrimp tank. I couldn't find a tape measure when ordering so I checked it out and figured it would work. They are too small to work with this filter, with or without a gasket. However, the quality of the product is excellent, there are no sharp edges anywhere and there is no residual smell of oil coming from them. Even though they were only sent in an envelope, they weren't damaged or broken. Just make sure you measure first, don't be a fool like this guy. They are much smaller than in the photos. Now I will buy a new filter. Not that it's a bad thing, you can never have too many fish, right?
