UPDATE 2: 8/2/21 Received a replacement in the mail today. It is in perfect condition and just in time for my trip. The process was completely painless and would have only taken a few days in the end if I had checked and replied to my messages in a timely manner. It has been a total of 5 days since the agent requested my replacement and I received it today. I am very happy with the customer service and that alone gets 5 stars but I also know the product is of excellent quality and I will write off the damage first time. UPDATE: 7/30/21 Your customer service is top notch! They responded the same day I contacted them and sent a replacement. It took longer on my part because I forgot to check my messages but when I replied they responded immediately the same day. Definitely down from two stars to four and I'll be more than happy to add a fifth after I get it, hopefully just in time for my return trip. I got this last year in September 2020 for a surprise country trip. It worked perfectly. It was very easy to install on my SUV, it kept out the rain, ice and snow very well, the material used is of good quality and the straps provided are good. This carrier seems perfect! Unfortunately, that turned out not to be the case. Last time I had another cross country trip. This will be our third ride with this carrier and literally midway through the ride we noticed it had a gaping hole in the corner where it came apart at the seams. The photos were taken at the rest area where it was seen. I usually wait a while to write reviews on something so I can use them and here's why. Less than a year and only used 3 times before falling into disrepair. We were also pressed for time so that didn't help, especially as we were heading for a heavy downpour. After hours of trying to fix it and lots of gorilla tape, we were able to hit the road. I have contacted support and hopefully can update their answer soon.
