The rear light may have to be removed for installation
Since I had to disassemble the rear light to install it, it was a little more work than I expected. I installed it on an old boat trailer and the bolts that held the tail light were badly rusted and I had to cut them off with a saw which broke the ground wire connector. So I made my way to the hardware store. After turning off the light, it was easy to install. I haven't connected the boat yet, but I hope this solves my broken tag problem.
