I have a newly renovated apartment and I hate the idea of chiseling or drilling holes in freshly painted walls. I researched for hours and decided to use Command products to hang pictures and artwork. I purchased Command Sticky Nail wire hangers specifically for two medium sized frames (about 18" x 18"). I believe the maximum weight limit for each hanger is 8 pounds. Both of my frames weighed about 5 pounds each. Completely afraid to go home and find them on the floor with broken glass, I doubled down and used two hangers per frame. I found that you have to follow the instructions very carefully, otherwise it won't stick. You should wipe the surface of the wall with alcohol to remove dirt and let it dry, which should be quick. Then attach the hanger and hold for 30 seconds. Then leave it for a day before hanging the frame. I think this allows the adhesive to stick to the wall surface for a firmer hold. Before hanging the frames, I also pulled them down with some force to see if they would come loose. My frames have been hanging for about a year now and they seem fine.
