I bought this set for my 9 year old daughter who loves to model with clay. Eventually she ran out of the previous set and wanted something with more colors. This one came with 36 colors and they are bright and vibrant. The texture of the clay is a bit closer to putty than clay, but I like the way it feels and shapes. The kit included a lot of good tools and supplies for making jewelry and keychains. She's a pretty good sculptor, and makes small, intricate kawaii-style figures that dry well overnight or in a sunny window. I love that the clay came in airtight containers rather than plastic bags. It's much easier for them to keep their inventory fresh and available. She is very happy with the set and I am very happy too.
