works great. When you receive it, you need to program the battery type. For example, I have a 53V LiFePO4 battery for a golf cart. So when I programmed it I installed LiFePO4 and set it to 16 cells. And that was it. Very easy. Note that the temperature setting is device dependent. So I mounted the meter on the dashboard of my golf cart, not under the seat where the battery is. Therefore the temperature readings refer to the display on the dash and not to the battery itself. Temperature sensor with screen as you would expect. If it makes sense I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
