Review on Redmond Waterproof Hiking Shoe for Unisex-Children by Columbia by Andre Belitz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far, so good!

I'm going to Peru and I've heard it's best to bring hiking shoes. I couldn't find suitable women's hiking shoes, so I opted for children's shoes (cheaper!). Right now I'm walking the sidewalks and dog walks in Seattle getting ready. I don't think they needed breaking in and I was quite comfortable in them. The rails stick to the ground and I feel great in them. The main feature is super stiff laces. I'm a grown woman and I have to pull quite hard to tighten this boot and tie it in a bow. I'm pretty sure the kids will loosen up and go. I wear 2.5/3 for kids and 4-5 for women (depending on the brand). I have size 3 in it and it worked great.

Pros
  • REINFORCED TOE CONSTRUCTION: We've reinforced the toe barrier and expanded the outer shell of the toe to protect this key wear point and engineered for sustained, heavy use.
Cons
  • No instructions
