Review on R-Gaza Crash Bars - 'Police' Model for Yamaha FJR1300 2001-2022 A/AE/AS/ES by Don Olsen

Protection bars are well made. Fits well. The gear set they sent with the grate is missing a lot. The bolts that attach the handlebars to the frame mount are too thick from top to bottom on both sides of the bike. There is not enough thread on the bolt for the nut to reach the plastic latch on the locknut. also on the right side, the nut that connects the rods to the frame bracket ends at a distance of 1 mm from the engine when installed. Too close for comfort. I had to reverse the direction of the bolt and nut so the nut was on the outside. Looks bad and the nut is like the left side, with not enough thread on the bolt for the nut to get to the plastic latch on the nuts. I recommend the bars but plan on getting other screws. They cost enough, you'd think it wouldn't be a requirement.
