Good value parts

Quality seems pretty good for the price. Installation instructions for things are a different story, but I managed to get them. I hope I never report how they work for their intended purpose =p

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Quality

Instructions Not enough, but still 5

Very professionally packaged! The instructions came laminated (probably because you can't remove the paneling unless you remove those protective moldings first), but they were missing. As I started taking things off and back on, it all seemed to make sense and complement each other. You look great. Very pure black powder coat is very good.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Little repairability

Great wands instructions for vacuuming

The wands look amazing and once you figure it out they are easy to install. I have a 3rd generation FJR and I don't need to remove the fairings. Just remove the vent and pull the plastic out a bit. The instructions are for photographic reference only. You will need a 6mm torx, a 14, 17, 15mm nut. There is also a 3/4 socket and wrench. The only problem I had was finding the right pins.

Good quality but interferes with the shifter

They are well made and the instructions are good for fitting. I had to look for videos on You Tube on how to remove the fairing to install the mount but it's no big deal. I kick it with my foot when downshifting because it's difficult to get my foot in between. The biggest complaint concerns the rear safety arches. Now a passenger can only step on the footpeg because it's too far forward, so I look for footpeg adapters to move it forward, or I can just remove the rear roll bars and sacrifice…

Good bars but missing mounting kit

Protection bars are well made. Fits well. The gear set they sent with the grate is missing a lot. The bolts that attach the handlebars to the frame mount are too thick from top to bottom on both sides of the bike. There is not enough thread on the bolt for the nut to reach the plastic latch on the locknut. also on the right side, the nut that connects the rods to the frame bracket ends at a distance of 1 mm from the engine when installed. Too close for comfort. I had to reverse the direction of

Looks and fits best Parts

I have placed all the parts for each side. First I removed the lower panels on the left side. I unscrewed the two engine mounting bolts and the two rear left mounting bolts. I found that I had to install the triangular bracket first, then the fairing, then the guard. The engine bolts are torqued to 40 ft-lbs. For the right side, a triangular bracket is installed with an "S” bracket with two motor bolts installed but not tightened. Then partially assembled the fairing and right hand protective…

I really like bars BUT.

I have a 2004 FJR, never broken or damaged. After much research and research there aren't many Gen 1 crash bar options left. I went with these bars as I have lower stretch bars and they wouldn't interfere with them. The right side fits perfectly. Then the left side would not fit without trimming the fairing. I've removed the fairing about 4 times trying to do my best not to have to dremmel the fairing. Nothing worked. I'm a hands-on guy, building and installing projects at work and around our…
